We love how the Octopus Ahoy! project has encouraged local residents (ourselves included!) and visitors to the region alike to explore the Tendring area alongside our trail, see it with new eyes and appreciate all that Essex has to offer.
While ours is largely a walking trail, the extensive network of public transport across the region is a true asset to trail followers. If you’ve already been octopus hunting in Clacton-on-Sea this summer, we’re sure you can’t help but to have noticed our striking Octopus Ahoy! design on the Clacton Breeze open-top bus (and if you’re anything like the team, given it a wave!) – a staple of the local bus network provided by Hedingham & Chambers.
We’re delighted to announce a ‘wheely’ great new unlocked reward on the Octopus Ahoy! app – one free entry into Hedingham & Chambers prize draw to win a family day return ticket within the Seasiders Zone! There are five up for grabs, with one entry per app user, so it’s all to play for!
Each lucky winner will receive their complimentary bus ticket via the new Hedingham & Chambers app, providing them with one full day of travel for their group on any chosen date. The family ticket can be applied to a group consisting of up to 1 adult and 4 children, or 2 adults and 3 children; travel applies to any Hedingham or Chambers bus but is restricted to routes within the Seasiders Zone, which covers Essex and Suffolk.
The prize draw will take place on Monday 6th September and our winners will be notified via email by Wednesday 8th September; simply follow our instructions to claim your prize.
