One event down! It was great to see so many faces, both new and familiar, at our Octopus Ahoy! Business Reception event last night at The Pier in Harwich.
Businesses from Tendring, and the wider area, joined us for drinks and canapes, to eagerly hear more about the Octopus Ahoy! sculptures, project timeline and the many ways in which businesses can reap the benefits to signing up for their very own octopus.
The event was an ideal opportunity for businesses to find out the various and exciting ways they can get involved and the great causes the project will be supporting in the future. We were delighted to introduce the sponsors who are already on board and provide a forum for everyone to meet and connect with one another as more and more companies join the project.
It also gave us the perfect occasion to introduce CJ the Octopus mascot – who we know will be making some appearances with our sponsors throughout the entirety of project.
